It was for sale .....

It

It had no name

Sold on Valentines Day

We saw ‘IT’ for sale on a cheap selling site, and she looked like she really needed our help.

Two of the Management team set out on a Thelma and Louise style, 150 mile road trip, to rescue her.

She had no name, no collar, no bed, no bowl or anything else to leave with and we were told that she had pups in November, but only had 3 live births, the other 6 died inside her, and the owner waited 24 hours before getting her to a vet for a caesarean, as it costs too much money!

We were also told we could buy a bag of dried food for £3 from Wilko, which will last her a week!

Once in FLOOF’s safe hands, the group decided to name her Valentina.

She stayed in foster for three weeks, and was given a clean bill of health thankfully, but this little dog was amazing with the foster families 5 other dogs, but petrified of humans, as judging from her reactions, she had clearly been beaten.

Slowly she’s coming round and has now been adopted by a family and lives with 6 fur brothers and sisters. She’s a gentle soul and is now starting to enjoy cuddles and has certainly fallen on all four paws and learning to understand not all humans are unkind. And, look at the difference with her now.

GO, VALENTINA, GO.
